  1. I have just stumbled across your page and find it very interesting as I work for Oxfam and we have recently been donated a book that contains a bookplate of Caleb Margerison. I am a bit of a novice with these things so I just wondered if this bookplate would have been privately commissioned by somebody such as Caleb? If so, I imagine that he was a rather well-off individual. Thanks!
